Description:
Accurate Insulation is hiring a full time estimator to work at our office in West Terre Haute. Job responsibilities would be finding commercial and industrial jobs to bid through an online database. We are subcontractors who place our bids with mechanical contractors. We do mechanical insulation (HVAC systems, plumbing, ductwork, industrial insulation). We do not do any residential insulation. The estimator would determine how long the job would take and what materials it will take to complete the project; then would work with the owner to determine what price to place on the bid. If the bid is secured the estimator would also be responsible for project managing (checking on the foreman to make sure job is completed on time, speaking to the general or mechanical project manager, delivering materials to jobsites and more). Skills needed are: strong communication skills, blueprint reading, strong emphasis on details, commercial construction experience.
